I’m absolutely obsessed with merino. The comfort. The fact that it’s odour-free (great for a sweaty guy like me!) The moisture wicking qualities—see previous point! It’s warm in winter and cool in summer. It’s the perfect fabric, in my view. In fact, I rarely wear anything else when I’m not in my corporate clobber.
Being obsessed with the stuff and having owned over a dozen merino wool t-shirts lead me to putting together a pretty long list of improvements I’d make on the t-shirts currently on the market. And that’s why I am setting out to create the ultimate merino wool hiking t-shirt. Something that’s perfect for hiking and is equally suited to being paired up with a pair of jeans on the weekend.
